Al Gore 2008 Presidential Run?

So, as the days pass, and Hillary and Obama jump into the fracas, we all wonder, “Hey Al, what’s your story, you running or not?” Yes, it’s a little crowded right now, but hey, you know you’re the man we’re looking for, the man we’re waiting for, the man we need. So what’s the story?

Gore would have my vote and I have asked many people what they thought and from what I hear, Gore would win as he did in 2000.

Al Gore can help us take back our politics, our environment and our integrity. He’s proven he’s a man of deep insight and convictions. He has continued to be a public servant even out of office. Our nation needs his leadership now more than ever. It’s time for Al to bring us home. PLEASE, AL, RUN! If you run, you’ll win.

Just ask yourself in 2 seconds: if Al Gore was running, who would you vote for? If the answer is anyone else, tell me why - ’cause I don’t see anyone else in the field even close!

Voted for Bush twice. I see who the Democrats have to offer now, and my party. There is only one man who I think is worthy, prepared, and best for the US. That is Al Gore and I pray he steps in and leads our nation in 09. He can depend on my support both financially and in time to work for his election. I’ll probably always be a Republican, but like I said Al is the most qualified out of the entire pool of conidates we have to choose from.

Well he gets my vote hands down……there is no one else who can get us back on track…I really believe this.
I feel that Gore will step in late…and he’ll suck the air right out of Hillary and Obama….and I think they all know this…he must be her worst nightmare right now.

Al Gore is the man of our times. We elected him once and want the opportunity to do it again. If everyone who voted for him before repeats their vote he will win again. I will personally put my effort into bringing in even more votes! Things never work out when they are achieved in the wrong way. Bush is evidence of that truth. Go Al…

After seeing “An Inconvenient Truth” I am more convinced than every that this country NEEDS Al Gore as President. Imagine what it would have been like if the 2004 election had a differeent outcome and it becomes really obvious that Al Gore is the President we need.

Al needs to run with Edwards to bring out country back. They understand our government and how it works, they understand the world stage, and they can bring back the south. They are the only ones that bring back our country if they drop the free trade agreements.

I am a Greek citizen, living in Athens, Greece. I just need to share with you the wide support to the person of Al Gore by an extended audience of opinion makers in my country. I personally am a great fun of Vice President, I have cited extracts from his book “Earth in the Balance” in the introduction of my PhD Thesis (on world and greek environmental politics) which I have supported 6 years ago and I am willing to collect a big number of signatures of support in order to convince Al Gore to run for president. After all, US presidency is a global issue and humanity has to renew its hope for surviving and sustainability. I understand his personal dissapointment after 2000 election, but now he has to move forward. Al Gore YOU ARE the hope for our world and the moment is now!

I think Gore should give it another try, after all he did get the popular vote last time and should have been our president. I think if he runs and gets the nomination then he would win in 08. I would very much like to see him run, but i am also a Clinton fan as well. So it would be hard to decide to support, thats why i want him to run so that i could see him in action agains Hillary and Obama. I do hope Gore runs because i think he has what it takes to win. So….RUN AL RUN!!

Any somewhat educated and conscious person in US would vote for Al Gore now. And I am sure there is a high enough percentage of the above in this country to have Al Gore win. How do we get him to run, is my question..

Gore President / Obama V.P. ticket in 2008! The American public has been purposefully misled on the dire natural resource and environmental issues facing our past, present and future generations for far far too long! The rhetoric, feigned ignorance, intentional misinformation and deception must be put to an end. Al Gore for President…again!

I would absolutely vote for Al Gore right now. We need someone who will make amends to the World Community, apologize from the ignorant, short sighted elitest administration that has ruled like an oligarchy for the past 5 years and take us into a World Community that includes all rather than excluding those who do not have the developmental ability to compete in a millenioum world..

I would donate my 2000.00 dollars to Al Gore’s campaign right now. I am a student and can ill afford to give away any amount of cash, but would do so willingly in this case. Please run!

Al Gore for Green Party President 2008

Why don’t we bring Al Gore into the 2008 Presidency as the GREEN CANDIDATE?
Help me PLASTER THE WEB with this concept!!!

Please, if someone can get this to him, show this to (President) VP. Gore ASAP?

Since the Democrats are a shameful embarassment of a political party, Gore should run as Green zcandidate for 2008!

    Dem’s suck because:

    1. Voted yes to War & Patriot Act,
    2. Didn’t force a cap on Record Oil Profits (btw –> price fluxes were not based on ‘free market’ supply demand but 100% market manipulation by corps),
    3. Won’t even discuss Impeachment (why didn’t that happen to Pres. Clinton?),
    4. NO CANDIDATE will stand by Kucinich’s HR333!!,
    5. Poor investigation of Voter Fraud,
    6. Didn’t slam Bush for Hurricane Katrina incompetence,
    7. Allowing no-bid graft ‘donations’ to Halliburton,
    8. Funding ongoing Iraq fiasco,
    9. Didn’t nail Bush about lying to America about WMD’s, spilling an undercover agent’s name as political revenge, Gonzalez’ abuse of office, Scooter Libby’s scandal, Rove’s consistent violation of ethics standards,
    10. and so much more… (I’m keeping this list short for legibility, not for lack of issues)

The Dems are basically GIVING AWAY EVERYTHING Americans fought for.

So why not have Gore run as the GREEN PARTY Presidential Candidate?
    Reasons:

    1. He could win (I think he would win)
    2. He would force Democratic party to commit to some environmental platform (which he says is more important than him personally winning anything)
    3. He would permanently help the Green party (and hopefully all American 3rd parties AND representative elections instead of ‘winner take all’)
    4. The Dem’s betrayed him before
    5. He could keep his ethics and be 100% anti-war, 100% anti-corporate ‘collusion’, & 100% pro-environment

I SAY GORE FOR GREEN PRESIDENT 2008!

    He’d get my vote!

PS: Sorry, if you voted for Bush 2x, you are … questionable. I wonder if you have ever read about his history or realized that this person is the representative of the USA to the world!!! You got just what you voted for — an idiot trying to act like someone that knows what they’re doing! Bush is raping America’s coffers for the military, and gouging dollars for oil (and gas) from the public w/o protecting Americans from the predatory oil firms.

I think that the information from “An inconvenient truth” should be better reached to the people. This is something we have to know. They don’t tell us this on the news. At least they don’t show how important it really is. I think they should just send a copy to every home. I just hope people are smart enough, and we’re not too late to get Al Gore to help us. Lead us to what has to be done. My vote for Gore.

There is no question that Al Gore can do more from the White House than from his slide presentations (the latter of which are fabulous). To not run is to be selfish. I know that he has a very cushy position right now but if he is truly patriotic, the White House is where the country needs him most. And he will never be as popular as he is right now. Remember when Mario Cuomo finally decided that he wanted to run, it was too late. Deep down, I think Al Gore wants to be president. And I presonally feel that he would be unbeatable in 2008.
