Al Gore & Global Warming

Making changes to a society ain’t so easy. Making changes to the way people perform their lives might be even tougher. Al Gore & Global Warming are two things that aren’t going away in the short term. One is here to educate, and the other is here to potentially wreak havoc. I’m very very encouraged by the current green movement, and love the fact that several small steps are being implemented to reduce our need on foreign oil and excessive energy consumption.

How have you viewed this current trend? Have you made any changes to your daily habit?

It’s not driving less, it’s immediately implementing a number of major improvements to our auto fuel and it’s usage (to clean and improve mpg). I guarantee you I could list ten (10) such improvements, that would give Big Oil heart attacks !! Any number of scientists could probably list one-hundred. This, with 3 or 4 other gut wrenching items, all listed on a “Contract With/For Working Americans”, would get you elected President, Dude !!

Long ago and far away, in another troubled time in our nation’s history, a special man stepped forward and saved us. FDR !! The list of our current problems maybe is as bad as it was then.

Take charge, don’t hold back. Tell the world what You know about Big Oil and the current administration. As they say, follow the money (for us). If You don’t, who will !! The elected leaders of the Democratic Party are all so quiet on this (oil), why ?

I wonder if the Queen intends to Knight another Bush !!

To your comments on Nightline/ABC News….

You lost the election. Stop speaking like you won. You don’t matter in the world of politics.

Best wishes. Stop using the airwaves for your garbage or you may end up warming the world with the stench left by your opinions.

My car gave out so I gave up on it - and the private auto. Not as difficult as I thought. Save a lot of money and feel I am doing the right thing. I think it is time to ration gas as we did in WWII. A side benefit would be the fostering of a feeling of community. There were ads during the war, such as “Is This Trip Necessary” and “If you are driving alone, are driving with Hitler.” Just change Hitler to “terrorists.”
If we use the anti-smoking drive as a template, I don’t think the fight against the solo driver should be all that difficult. We got people to snuff their butts, now we should get their butts out of the driver’s seat. Face it, SOVs are SOBs. Let’s start by taking auto ads off TV.

To attempt to get us off fossil fuels by lying is just not going to work. That is what Al Gore is doing! He know that CO2 is a result of warming not a cause of the warming. The it has been found that the Oceans are much better at absorbing the CO2 and Methane in the atmosphere when it is colder out and less efficient when it is warmer.
    http://www.co2science.org/scripts/CO2ScienceB2C/subject/m/summaries/methanetemp.jsp

Now I’m not opposed to cutting back on fossil fuel use. Just like I’m not opposed to attempting to reduce gun crimes, But I’m totally against gun control laws. Politicians Lie there as well telling us that if we add more restrictions to people who can get guns will reduce gun crimes. That is the exact opposite, the best laws on the books for reducing gun crimes is in Kennasaw Ga. Where every household has to have a gun. Once that law was enacted the all crimes were reduced substantially.

We need to find a better way to present the reduction of fossil fuels that doesn’t focus on the Lie that Man is causing Global Warming.

Also you want to know why Gore won’t run? Global warming is the reason. He would get ripped apart by everyone who points out the lies in his movie and in his entire stance on Global Warming.

Yes, we have a hybrid car, have given up oil heat for a wood burning boiler, are slowly getting solar powered, as our income permits, and remember to turn off our computers when we are finished with them, as was suggested at the end of the movie.

Forget about the Kyoto Protocol. It is dead.

Here is the only solution that will work.

How to reduce global warming? Reduce sales and income taxes and increase Greenhouse Gas taxes by the same amount.

Result - more spending on products which prodcuce less grennhouse gases. No reduction in economic growth. Just different growth.

Charge all imports with the greenhouse gas tax and give exports a greenhouse gas tax refund so our industries will not be lose compeitiveness.

I think there is no point doing things differently as individuals. It won’t make any difference because of what is happening in developing countries such as China, where a new coal-fired power station is built every 10 days. And anyway, an even bigger concern should be whether or not are going to have enough food in the near future. World population is expected to reach 8 billion by 2025. So every day there are more and more people to feed and less good agricultural land. When there is a shortage of oil and gas supplies (and it is when, not if) the problem will be much worse. No oil means no diesel to power tractors and no nitrogen fertiliser. As food stocks fall panic and speculation will set in. Millions could die.

I am very concerned about this and recommend the ebook Famine in the West. I say more on the site www.peakfood.co.uk.

This chimney is all factory exhausts.

    -Garbage burning facilities and similar.
    -Power-plants.
    -Cement factories.

Existing factories that have been closed due to the pollution may be revitalized with this Eko system.
This project is substantially less expensive, more efficient, less complicated and healthire for all living beings.
Eko system has a purpose to collect all smog (smoke) in one place, where a new product is made.
It is important to emphasize that this EKO system operates on the principles of ventilation and suction.
The chimeny has to be closed with a corresponding cap. From this cap, which closes the chimney, a pipe comes out, its size depending on the width of the chimney. This pipe has a task to direct all smog downwards, beside the chimney, where a basin with water is located, and this is where the smog ends.
When the water is filled with smog, it becomes thick as mud or silt. By adding sand, gravel and cement, new products are made, such as cement blocks, concrete salbs, railroad ties (for in between the rail tracks) and other products.

These products can have wide use in the building industry, for example; airport runways, underground storage, building foundations, etc.

Not enough people will ever change their ‘evil ways’ until something is done to improve on the daily things, the stress levels, the shortage of money, etc etc. in other words: to make life worth living.

Live is miserable as is. No one can ‘afford’ to give a rat’s ass about future trends in anything but what affects the food on their kids plates, the roof over their kids heads, the clothign on their backs. Look at the increasing number of poor and see if that fits the increasing crime levels (fits as does the continent shore lines.) Americans have been pushed far enough, more than far enough.

And until something is done about that no one can afford to care. Period.(like THAT will ever happen–the rich f%^$s NEED that second or third or more!! house(s) and that yatch and the 4th vacation and another new closet full of shoes…as people go homeless and starving and struggling day after day year after year…*sigh*)

I have often heard that the space program has damaged the
ozone layer, causing global warming. If this is true, why do
we have a space program, if it is damaging the earth and
there are no other planets which we can inhabit.

All you people who believe that man is destroying the planet by causing global warming need to relax, calm down and read two books. “The Little Ice Age” and “Unstopable Global Warming- Every 1500 Years”. Educate yourself a little. Then you will realize that man made global warming is a hoax.
It is all about power and the redistribution of wealth.
Man made global warming is the biggest hoax since Darwinian Evolution.

Your comments re: homosexual marriage are as relavant as your ideas on global warming. Can’t think of anything more romantic than on man sticking his wang up another mans ass.
    Love and kisses.
