    Mr. Gore,
Congratulations for your much deserved Sierra Club award. I personnally wish to thank you for your tireless efforts to help save our planet and if you should decide to change your mind and run for president you can rest assured that you will have all the support I can give. I fear that none of the current candidates on the Democratic side can win a national election which would sadly mean that much of your noble efforts will have been in vain. The world needs you Mr. Gore! The best of luck to you whatever you decide.

He does not deserve this award. To get an award you have to do something good and not make movies and speeches on false facts and Partisan Bull.

P.S. IF what he says is true, then he should sell his suv’s All his homes and move into Green home. Not fly anywhere and use local tv and radio station for his messages. Because the credits he purches do nothing but look like he is doing something to help stop global Warming.

I am as in favor of reducing pollution and looking for alternative fuels as anyone. As a conservationist I cherish the world’s flora and fauna. That being said, how about dealing with facts before we call Al Gore a hero. Over 500 ‘global warming’/climate change studies have been completed over the last several years. The scientific evidence is still inconclusive as to man’s involvement in climate change. Let’s stop the hype the media, ignorant folks in Hollywood and politicians try to push.

This note is for Al Gore,

He needs to go back to school and study the sciences of the planets and mostly about the forming of the Blue Planet - Earth. Hundreds of years ago Greeland was green when the Viking first found it. Gore you need to watch the “History Channel” on TV when they aare showing the birth of earth to its present time. You will find out that you are so wrong on Global Warming.

As much as I appreciate Mr. Gore’s efforts, I could use a little more personal example, such as “greening” his home as he wants the rest of us to do.

We can all help if we only dump 65% of 100% of our tailpipe emissions into the atmosphere. That’s right 35-40% of the fuel you use does not combust in the engine. That is the purpose of the catalytic converter and the big blue sky. If we can take that lost fuel (and money) and burn it correctly we can help save the planet. I am the inventor of Vapster and that is what this device was made to do. Vapster is a pre-heater device that converts the liquid fuel into vapor before sending it to the combustion chamber. I have third party tests that show 37% increase in gas mileage. Go to our web site www.vaporfuelsystems.com
I’m doing my part what ’bout you?

I’d really love to see Al Gore run for president. There’s probably no other way he’ll ever be forced to debate global warming. It would be a hoot to watch!

Of course, I’ll tell you right now he will never run. And the global warming debate is the reason. He makes money off of it you know. why dampen the hype by having to answer questions about it?

Many regards, and keep up with the wonderful work.

    Congratulations you deserve the best.
For a few months we are trying to contact you regarding a invention patented by us, we have created a particle board made of recycled plastics and leather scraps, as you may know the tannery industry is one of the most pollutant manufactures out there, we can use their by product and combine it with recycled plastics (note that the plastic separation process was simplified by us and therefore such labor intense activity became a faster operation decreasing the amount of labor involved and therefore it is now a more attractive solution for countries that have high cost of labor hands) and create a particle board with potential uses for various other industries from furniture to vehicle manufactures, there are no by product on the production of such particle boards and the investment compared with other similar processes is very dismal.
As you are involved with such type of environmental solutions can you please direct us on the proper direction towards a potential organization interested in hear from us.

Many regards, and keep up with the wonderful work.

Al Gore and both political parties talk a good game but no substance to thier position.Thirty (30) percent of green house gas is formed from the production of electricity.I have proposed government assistance and financing of SOLAR power for some time now .Just installing solar units in States like Texas ,Arizona,New Mexico,Florida and California would eleminate the natural gas imports and lower green house production to limits below the levels in the 60’s.The reason it is not done is Gore and the other politions are in the pockets of big business.Al gore does not have the leadership to DO THE RIGHT THING.

Dear Mr. Gore, I’m glad you are making the public aware of the global warming crisis, but many people are not taking it seriously. The other thing is in addition to needing more trees to help clean the air and as I learned in science class make oxygen, people need to learn how to share this planet we call home with the non-human residents who have an equal right to be here and have not been doing thing to the environment to screw up the planet. For example, animals did not clear an area covered with oxygen producing plants and trees and replace them with pavement and large houses that many, including myself (security guard) and school teachers may never be able to by. Instead of building more overpriced homes, I think it would be a better idea to leave whatever open space is left such as in Concord and Southern California and many states considering the same to turn the areas into wildlife preserves. Many freeways that pass through wildlife habitat should have a slower or more closely enforced speed limit. While traveling with my mom, sister and her kids to Gilroy Gardens on 280 we saw a dead dog or coyote in the middle of the south bound lanes. I’m still upset about it to. There were also some small animal and a flat hawk, but since our family has a dog named Sporty who’s boxer/lab mix the dog in the road upset me the most. I wish people didn’t drive so fast. I also wish time could be turned back to when there was more open space and more trees, especially in rain forests. People need to understand that the earth is not just for people. The earth is for ALL the living things made made by the Great Spirit. I think it’s Wakan Tanka in the Lakota (sioux) language. Animals can not go to a store to buy food when they are hungry. They need a large area to look for food. People take for granted how easy they have it and unless there’s a way to keep animals from starving from lack of food, they should at least get to keep there homes. When will people ever understand the destruction they are causing to the earth? Hopefully before it’s too late. sincerely, Patty Sweet P.S. I voted for you, not the Bush.

Dear Mr. Gore, I’m glad you won the Nobel Peace Prize. It was well deserved and I hope people will take the chaos going on with the environment more serious. May be more people will plant trees and remember to water them since they don’t water themselves and stop doing things that contribute to the problem such as toxic waist and deforestation as seen in Brazil. These problems are created by humans. Will they ever learn? Patty S.

America’s demise is rapidly becoming apparent. Amid world developments, the falling dollar will require the workforce to establish a new base of relative value. Like an overbought stock, America will sink until nations again regard its currency value with fairness.

That is saying that a tipping point has occurred, and the present value of America is questionable.
Critics will contend loudly that the fabric of America is resilient, and will always repair itself.

Someday however, the inevitable economic crisis will develop, and all nations will be attempting to gain perceived adjustments to overcome regional and domestic problems.
I think the problem facing America is a long-term, internal one that resulted from misplaced priorities preceding industrial growth. Inherently, America is now particularly vulnerable to a sudden economic surprise with severe impact, like that of an extra-terrestrial event. Such an event would of course, be cataclysmic. The main concern of government however, is for anything with probability to cause a sudden surge in oil prices while maintaining needed supply, or a sudden drop in the available oil commodity. Analysts study an array of other problems that could have similar economic implications as well.
Al Gore recently reported that he was unable to see the signs of a problem. Was he in fact iterating the fact of a self-known lie within his own debate of “An Inconvenient Truth?” Quite possibly he was blatantly lying, all the while telling us to look deeper, within ourselves.

Every day something happens that signals a crumbling foundation. The real problem facing America is the unraveling of the resilient fabric of common sense, truth and values that is a part of every living American. To assess the problem at hand, we must evaluate instead of the fact that we are all righteously alive and free, but rather the fact that we are incapable of understanding exactly how to overcome the deception of lying, and the decaying, of our common sense of universally transmitted, living values.

We are here living when all of life is crying out that something is terribly wrong. As the only capable beings, we must respond with love, and desire to attempt changing what that is. Above all, we must begin to know of our own lying and decaying, without further denial of human facts, with very high regard for how we shall live here, among all others.

In the recent past, it is now apparent that world governments made serious mistakes in prioritizing mass-industrial freedoms highly, over environmental and educational necessity. From a long-term perspective, development of mass transportation that uses internal combustion was costly, affecting future generations. Presently some very imposing problems that will profoundly affect future generations are on the table.

Hindering our judgment are existing infrastructures, and not concurrent to Mr. Gore, a mass-commercialized freedom to mechanically transport human necessity that is clearly temporal, and rather gravely unsustainable. To an extent, the electric power grid exists as a hindering part of infrastructure that will in some way, also become necessarily obsolete.

As responsible humans, we must urgently accept these hard truths about our living, and learn to adopt new consumption ethics for moving toward repairing an occurring, masses-damaged world. Otherwise, we have a moral responsibility to remove ourselves, fairly.

    -

Mr. Gore made a brilliant, and timely contributon to the important American dialogue.

if i can build an ice rink in my backyard, why can’t we build ice burgs at the polls. we have nuclear vessals that could suppy the electric and the technology would only have to be modified. the wine industry uses a thin material to protect the grapes from too much sun, why can’t we do the same for the glaciers. i’m currently working on a kite to see how much material i can remove from the air, its not easy for me. i thought if i could remove a gram over a short period of time, how much dirtand toxins could a million kites or say one hundred million kites remove

My name is Trevor Michelson. I am 9 years old and in the 4th grade at John H. West Elementary School in North Massapequa, NY.

    The following are my comments:
If you respond I will give you more thoughts. I think if you tell the public this it will be so effective it will save the world. President Bush did not tell a lot of people all of this. Global warming is effecting us rapidly, it gives us sun burn 2x as much as it did.
At my camp it was crazy. People put a lot of sun screen on. People’s pets will die as well as us and other animals. It’s sad that could happen. If people had things such as fluorescent light bulbs at a lesser charge, we could save millions. To help, we could tell the public more things that I know face to face. We could save the world.

If you have any more ideas please tell me.

One major endeavour of humanity is to plant billions of trees all over the world. Imagine if instead of staying home watching TV, playing Playstation III or navigating long hours through Internet, some 500 Millions of people decided to plant just 5 trees every Sunday morning.

One possibility would be to ask all churches and the Vatican to promote this obvious idea, that right after praying in Sunday morning all citizens go to all possible public open spaces to plant trees using the seeds customarily disposed as “thrash” in the kitchen, any seeds, just allow God to decide which of them will grow.

Of course the wise way is to try seeds that are natural of each place, you may not plant bananas in Alaska, but if you plant what is already endemic of each zone you will succeed, for example instead of trying to plant elegant grass along the highways just fertilize and oxygenise the soil to stimulate natural grass, that is wise, to follow mother nature, not to oppose her.

I think it is important for Gore to be more in the public eye about global warming in this pre-election time. ^The issue of the environment needs to be brought to the forefront so the candidates are forced to address it, and pledge to do specific things about it. If he stays quiet now, it may be too late to get commitment after the candidates are finished competeing for the recognition they want as supporters of Gores movement . Even McCain will have to think about what he is saying on the issue because of his support from independents. I tried to find a website to communicate with Gore and had no luck. If someone knows how, please communicate this concern to him.

Mr. Vice President: I saw you on C-SPAN with Bono in Devos, Switzerland. You said influential people and movie stars who support the grass efforts of individuals combating global warming connect with average Americans. Sure we listen to movie stars and people pumped by the media. Now, I hope you see the advantage of you, Mr. Gore working in communities with everyday people to speak to their neighbors and friends. These people who you work with will be hugely effective, as people are always impressed by someone getting the attention of celebrities. Sure it seems like you would be taking advantage of people, but not really! Actually, these speakers will be able to reach and educate their neighbors long after the training is over. Sharon PErkins
