America’s Most Eco-Friendly City?

Yahoo’s got a cool promotion going on, allowing users to accumulate points for “going-green” in certain aspects of their life. The city that collects the most points will win a fleet of hybrid taxis donated from Yahoo.
Very cool promotion, go sign up here!

Dear Honorable Gore, Wish all your Democratic Party would listen to you about the environment. Here in Franklin County, Kentucky the city of Frankfort. The city commission (mostly democratics) vote on approval of shopping behind Frankfort’s JC Penney, Kroger, etc. and subdivision on U.S. 127. The people I ask who lives in Frankfort does not won’t the shopping center and subdivision because of all the beautiful trees going to be destroyed and congested area. The high level of CO2 that going to be happening. The developers here removed the topsoil and most/sometimes all the tree. I know there is a group here wants green space but no luck, the name of group I do not have on hand right. I live in the County not the city. There is a new subdivision coming up in my area. The top soil looks like its gone. Wish you can see these beautiful trees before they are destroyed.

Al Gore,
I have noticed in recent years it seems like environmentists are not encouraging tree planting as much as they were back in the 1980’s and 90’s. With present leadership in no hurry to do anything to cut greenhouse gas emmisions, should they be pussing massive tree planting projects for empty fields and urban areas? I know there could be trees in highway medians and many other places around the nation. We should ask ourselves: “can we plant a tree here?” every inch of earth counts. J.G.

Please, if you can, forward this to (President) VP. Gore?
I was thinking that … since the Democrats suck ass, Gore should run as Green candidate!
Dem’s suck because:
they vote yes to War
didn’t force Capping Record Oil Profits
didn’t Impeach
weak investigation of Voter Fraud
and so much more…
They’re basically GIVING AWAY EVERYTHING
So why not have Gore run as the GREEN PARTY Presidential Candidate?
Reasons for:
a) he could win
b) he would force Democratic party to commit to some environmental platform
c) he would permanently help the Green party
d) the Dem’s betrayed him before
I SAY GORE FOR GREEN PRESIDENTIAL CANDIDATE 2008!
