Did Al Gore Invent The Internet?
This silly question is raised quite often, so we thought we’d address it here real quick.
The comment in question was raised way back in March of 1999 when Al visited Wolf Blitzer on CNN. Wolf was asking Al what differentiated himself from Democratic challenger, Bill Bradley of New Jersey. His response was, quote:
During my service in the United States Congress, I took the initiative in creating the Internet. I took the initiative in moving forward a whole range of initiatives that have proven to be important to our country’s economic growth and environmental protection…
Now, clearly, Al wasn’t posturing himself as the creator of the internet here. He was simply mentioning, from a legislative and governmental sense, he helped nurture the technology that became the internet today.
Internet or not, we all value Al’s work. And the world’s a better place cause he’s here : )

Attention Al Gore:
If we as a nation would dry our clothes outside one day a month can you imagine all the energy we would save.

Please, contact Al Gore and ask him what part of the world he is living-in. I would like to move where he resides, so I could enjoy the warmth of this so-called global warming. I am tired of the cold weather in the great state of Wisconsin. Please, tell Al Gore I want to be his neighbor and his best friend. Maybe he can teach me how to be the greatest con-man. I would like to make millions of dollars, conning people in believing something that isn’t true… just like global warming. Anyone that believes in the global warming b.s., needs to stop taking their medication and look at the world through clear glasses and not the rose color glasses. Hey, Al give-up the con and go out and get a real job.
