I have a boat that burns 15 gallons an hour at cruise. It was common for the bay temp to get into the 90s a few years ago but this year it only reached 85. A few years ago my other boat burned 12 gallons an hour. I burned less fuel with my last boat and the temp was higher than when I burned more fuel, hence, more fossil fuels burned the lower the temp.
