Gore Would Win NH Primary - Amazing
some amazing news coming out of New Hampshire recently in a poll released this week.
Guess what the poll revealed?
It revealed Hilary Clinton was leading …
but….
if Al announced he was running, and I’ll quote…
Twenty-nine percent of Clinton voters would switch to Gore (…), and when all of the switches from other Democratic candidates were recalculated, Gore would defeat Clinton
some truly truly amazing news to come out. Let’s all hope Al gets word of this. It could put him over the edge!

More than half of Americans won’t vote for Clinton, poll shows
# Survey provides a snapshot of the senator’s challenges as she seeks the Democratic nomination for president

WASHINGTON — More than half of Americans say they wouldn’t consider voting for Sen. Hillary Rodham Clinton for president if she becomes the Democratic nominee, according to a new national poll made available to McClatchy Newspapers and NBC News.
The poll by Mason-Dixon Polling and Research found that 52 percent of Americans wouldn’t consider voting for Clinton, D-N.Y. Former Massachusetts Gov. Mitt Romney, a Republican, was second in the can’t-stand-’em category, with 46 percent saying they wouldn’t consider voting for him.
Clinton has long been considered a politically polarizing figure who would be a tough sell to some voters, especially many men, but also Clinton-haters of both genders.
Thursday’s survey provides a snapshot of the challenges she faces, according to Larry Harris, a Mason-Dixon principal.
“Hillary’s carrying a lot of baggage,” he said. “She’s the only one that has a majority who say they can’t vote for her.”
Clinton rang up high negatives across the board, with 60 percent of independents, 56 percent of men, 47 percent of women and 88 percent of Republicans saying they wouldn’t consider voting for her.
Romney struggled most with women: 50.9 percent said they wouldn’t consider voting for him.
“It’s the flip-flop of Hillary,” Harris said of Romney. “One could suppose it’s the Mormon issue — we didn’t ask follow-up questions — but his religion is an issue.”
On name recognition, Clinton also led the 2008 presidential pack in voter disapproval, with 42 percent saying they recognized her name and were unfavorable toward her, versus 39 percent favorable.
That gave her a double-digit lead in that bad-news category over Republican Sen. John McCain of Arizona and former North Carolina Sen. John Edwards, a Democrat. They each had 28 percent unfavorable recognition.
Former New York Mayor Rudy Giuliani had the highest favorable recognition at 43 percent, with Clinton close behind at 39 percent. Sen. Barack Obama, D-Ill., was third at 36 percent, followed by McCain at 33 percent and Edwards at 32 percent.
McCain rang up the highest favorable rating among independent voters with 39.4 percent, followed by Giuliani with 37.3 percent. Edwards scored well with independents, too, with 31.1 percent favorable; Obama had 28 percent favorable.
The Mason-Dixon survey was conducted June 23-25 with 625 likely general-election voters. It has an error margin of plus or minus 4 percentage points.

I very much hope Al Gore will run, if not I will support
John Edwards, because both Hilary and O’bama both voted
for the illegal mexicans to get social security, I feel like our
elected officials are repsenting the illegal mexicans insteed
of the Americans that put them in office.

I first like Even Bahy for Al Gore’s running mate but
I now have reconsidered and think that he should pick
the person he should have picked in 2000 Bill Bradley

Dear Al:
Just read about your youngest spawn, on the internet you invented, who got arrested for having drugs in his possession while driving at speeds nearing 100 miles per hour on the San Diego freeway. He did a lot for global warming, didn’t he? Smoking all those drugs probably increased temperatures in the area a couple of devastating degrees, wouldn’t you think? Of course, if I had a father like you I’d probably be on drugs too. Luckily I’m an Idaho farm boy who is well educated and served honorably in the Marine Corps. I must admit I have an intense disliking for liberals like you. Given your son’s recent behavior, in a future debate maybe John Edwards can take a few shots at you and your family, like he did the honorable and respectable Cheney family. You are one despicable liberal who preaches conservation and lives in mansions that are far from being conservative. Ever thought about commending GW for his energy efficient ranch in Crawford? I doubt it. Keep up the good work, Al. You and your rotund bride make a wonderful, hypocritical couple. Call me up sometime when you’re in Nevada. Myself or one of my conservative colleagues would love to belittle you in public.

I’m all for helping the environment and global warming.
Although, I do have a concern about the mercury in the light bulbs you promote. Most cities do not have the ability to dispose of these properly. Also what should one do when they break inside your home?
When they are put in the garbage they end up in the land fill and then in our water table.
I wold like to hear your comments on this matter.
Thank-you for your time!

I will be honest I am not a fan. However, I have a daughter that has been in and out of drug treatment several times and my heart goes out to you and your family.
The treatment is serious financial burden which has already drained us. I’m constantly questioning how I’m going to pay for the next days treatment.
With your notoriety you could start a foundation to help these young people. I certainly would volunteer or do what ever I could.
I will pray for your son as I pray daily for my daughter.
Best Regards Raylene

You want to run a country but can’t even raise a responsible family? More great wisdom for the master of miscalculation/misinterpretation/deception (choose your own adjective)

Gore: Son’s arrest is ‘a private family matter’
NO, you ****, driving 100 mph on a public highway while stoned to the gills is a VERY PUBLIC MATTER.

Al Gore said today he’s “no longer interested in politics, only in climate change.” I almost choked on my morning coffee. Al, your version of climate change IS all about politics. The more people buy into the supposed human responsibility for that whopping ONE degree change in global temperature, the more state and local governments can justify their own tax increases (the holy grail of the Democratic Party) to “combat the problem.” It’s beginning to happen, folks, just watch for it in a town near you.

I heard you talking up the global warming theory and though I don’t know yet if this is biblical prophecy coming true or if it is something you discovered, I strongly agree we need to take serious steps about cleaning the air & the ozone layer. Have you heard of the “Air Car” ? How about salt water as a fuel source that has just been discovered? These sound like the answer to our pollution problems. Who do you know who has the power to import vehicles that run on air! You talk a lot but I have seen no positive action from you. Bringing the “Air Car” to the U.S. could solve more than just the pollution problem! If they are as advertised, I’m gonna sell my Buick and order one. I’ll just have to keep a few tanks of compressed air to fuel my new energy & money saving vehicle til they catch on!

I am not a fan either. But this could be very well be the wake up call to spend more time with your family and to devote more attention to them and to your son in particular, instead of trying to save the world.
Charity and good will should start first at home. The recent news would appear to be a cry for help by your son, and likely no one has been listening, or perhaps too busy with global matters. Nothing should be more important than the health and well being of your family!!! Your number one priority should be your family.
If you have problems at home, would it not be best to devote the attention they deserve.
It is like a guy who goes to a marriage counselor for advise and the marriage counselor has been divorced three times. What kind of valuable advise can he really provide?
If you can’t solve your own problems, why would you think or believe you can solve the problems of others.

Why didn’t Al Gore do something about climate change during his last presidential campaign?
He couldn’t even beat a George bush, having already been VP.
Has Global Warming/Climate change only been going on for 7 years or so?
Sorry, if Al didn’t realise the significance or otherwise of global climate change then, he sure doesn’t deserve to be President now. Unfortunately Al just doesn’t have what is needed to be President; matbe he could ask George I guess.
And as for Global Warming/Climate Change, surely it is just a political means of gaining power for the ploitically motivated.
The planet has had climate change long before politicians became involved, and will continue to be a natural phenomenon forever. All humans need to do is adapt!
All I see happening is political talk/jargon
Does George Bush care about global warming? said,

I read that George Bush is indifferent to global warming; he just doesn’t care. And apparently Bush is focused more on Cheney’s interests in the energy industry. Probably both Bush and Cheney will ignore global warming… they don’t want to sign the Kyoto Protocol. Environmentalists will be angry at them, but then again much of the American public doesn’t care about climate change.
Myself, I can’t decide… depends whether global warming disasters will happen soon, or in 20 years or 100 years… who knows…
