I read that George Bush is indifferent to global warming; he just doesn't care. And apparently Bush is focused more on Cheney's interests in the energy industry. Probably both Bush and Cheney will ignore global warming... they don't want to sign the Kyoto Protocol. Environmentalists will be angry at them, but then again much of the American public doesn't care about climate change.

Myself, I can't decide... depends whether global warming disasters will happen soon, or in 20 years or 100 years... who knows...

Why didn't Al Gore do something about climate change during his last presidential campaign?

He couldn't even beat a George bush, having already been VP.

Has Global Warming/Climate change only been going on for 7 years or so?

Sorry, if Al didn't realise the significance or otherwise of global climate change then, he sure doesn't deserve to be President now. Unfortunately Al just doesn't have what is needed to be President; matbe he could ask George I guess.

And as for Global Warming/Climate Change, surely it is just a political means of gaining power for the ploitically motivated.

The planet has had climate change long before politicians became involved, and will continue to be a natural phenomenon forever. All humans need to do is adapt!

All I see happening is political talk/jargon

I agree that Al is the man for the job,but more importantly if he becomes president will he prosecute those responsable for the fiasco they call the war in iraq. 8 billion in cash, missing. enough arms and body armor to start another war, missing. and 15 billion in oil, missing. among countless other crimes and profiteering all perpetrated on the graves of our dead sons and daugthers 3700 and still counting. please tell me there are other people out there who feel that we can"t let them get away with this treason.

Sincerely, o

I am not a fan either. But this could be very well be the wake up call to spend more time with your family and to devote more attention to them and to your son in particular, instead of trying to save the world.

Charity and good will should start first at home. The recent news would appear to be a cry for help by your son, and likely no one has been listening, or perhaps too busy with global matters. Nothing should be more important than the health and well being of your family!!! Your number one priority should be your family.

If you have problems at home, would it not be best to devote the attention they deserve.

It is like a guy who goes to a marriage counselor for advise and the marriage counselor has been divorced three times. What kind of valuable advise can he really provide?

If you can't solve your own problems, why would you think or believe you can solve the problems of others.
