Profile of a Green Mom

The Atlanta Journal Constitution published a surprisingly good article about a local mom who slowly became exposed to the Green way of life after her first child was born. The article does a great job highlighting the fact that simple changes can make great impacts on the earth. Bravo AJC on a well delivered message..

Congratualtions, Mr. Gore. You deserve all the praise that you have been given. As far as I’m concerned, you won the 2000 presidential election, and the Bush-appointated supreme court stole it from youand the American people. Please continue your efforts to protect this country and the world. If you were president, I’m sure that the US wouldn’t be in this horrible war, and this county would be held in high esteem by the world. unlike what we have now under Bush/Cheney.

For several years, I and my large group of “greenies” have been a fan of Al Gore. We have now become somewhat disenchanted with many of the Al Gore postulates. Just look at what’s happening.

Gas prices!!! Alternative energy??? Our country laden with natural reserves of petrolium.

We are really tired of marches and demonstrations. They do not bring positive results.

We have now become “practical greenies”. Lets’s drill and tell the Arabs and Venezuelan’s to shove it…

    Dear Mr. Al Gore,
Your role bieng a warrior to protect the climate of globe is immaculate.
I would like to invite your kind attention to the following.
If United States can build a strong public railway syatem connceting all adjoining States, that will eliminate more than 70% of the trucks and about 25% cars from the road. This electrified public railway system will have many advantages like conciderable reduction of the air emission, wear and tear of roads, improve the driving conditions and save billions of dollars which we are using to buy foriegn fuel.
If America does not have the money to invest to build this infrastrucutre then non of any other countries have it.
Please come forward with this idea to encourage leaders of the nation to urge them to build a strong public railway system.

Electric power plants should be reduced by one-half within the year. All air conditioning except in hospitals and special circumstances should be outlawed. SUVs should be removed from our highways within the next year. Large advertising illumination should be outlawed such as the giant extravaganzas in Las Vegas. Let’s get serious about global warming. We can do it! It will require Al Gore to lead us.
