Well, I’m an Australian… we also have a dumbass at the wheel! If Gore had gained Presidancy in 2000, then maybe we wouldn’t be seven years down the wrong road and we would have ratifed kyoto - even gone further. Maybe our country wouldn’t be so surprised that 80% of the country is in the worst drought in over a hundred years, and Australia may even accept accountability for being the biggest producer of coal in the world. Its our mess that people are burning!

If Gore had won (which he did, actually) - wow. We 1) wouldn’t be in Iraq 2) Wouldn’t be spending billions on the war 3) would instead be investing in renewable energy, would be leading the world to create a sustainable future 4) Would not have antagonized the entire world, destabilized the Middle East, 5) might actually have a future for my two young sons.

Al Gore will concentrate on global warming and peace in the Middle East-He will ensure that the 2 State solution between Palastine & Isreal will finally be fulfilled and the sufferings and humiliations will finally be abated. Mary-Jersey City

But at least we can say that in 2008 mr. Gore stopped the war, turned the country around and set in motion bills that will stop global warming and got the respect that bush lost in the worlds eyes. THE GLASS IS HALF FULL!!!!
